Bob Bafundo

President, Rave Restaurant Group, Inc.

As President of RAVE Restaurant Group, Bob Bafundo oversees day-to-day operations for all RAVE brands. An industry veteran with a passion for restaurants, Bafundo joined RAVE in 2016 as president of Pizza Inn. During his tenure, he developed and implemented successful initiatives leading to positive same-store sales and a resurgence in restaurant growth for Pizza Inn. He also led the brand to introduce a new non-traditional brand, PIE, as a complement to the brand refresh and expansion of Pizza Inn. Previously, Bob served as President of Garbanzo Mediterranean Grill. With a background in operations, Bob has worked through the ranks of both single and multi-unit operations with restaurants such as KFC, Tin Star Southwest Grill, Back Yard Burgers, and Rax Restaurants.

Christina Coy

Vice President of Marketing, Pie Five Pizza Co.

A Dallas native and proud amateur food critic, Christina joined Pizza Inn Holdings in 2009, winning the coveted Golden Crust award for excellent service to the Pizza Inn franchise community. In 2011, she started working on this exciting new concept, Pie Five Pizza, and has been in love with their food ever since. She’s had a role in the entire concept development from marketing to décor to menu development. Prior to joining Pizza Inn, she spent 5 years at ad agencies on QSR brands such as Domino’s and Popeye’s, where she managed the marketing for franchise co-ops. Christina is a graduate of Texas A&M University and enjoys spending time at Pie Five, eating her Farmer’s Market pizza…and maybe a slice of the Turtle Brownie.

Scott Black

Vice President of Operations, Pie Five Pizza Co.

Scott Black knows his way around a restaurant.  As Vice President of Operations for Pie Five Pizza, he adds over 30 years of experience in the food industry with a proven track record of driving top line guest experiences and bottom line results.  Black began his career as a GM at Nick-N-Willy’s Take-N-Bake Pizza, where he worked his way to CEO of the restaurant chain in less than 10 years. Since then,

Black has served in a variety of executive operational roles with several highly respected fast-casual brands, including Noodles & Company, Garbanzo Fresh Mediterranean, &Pizza, Naked Pizza, LYFE Kitchen and Bobby’s Burger Palace.

Chris Heiser

Vice President of Restaurant Development

Chris Heiser is used to building excitement! As the Director of Construction for Rave Restaurant Group, Inc., Chris knows the pie’s the limit when managing construction projects for all Pie Five and Pizza Inn restaurants in development.  With 25 years of experience with companies like Fossil Watch Company, where he developed nearly 150 retail and outlets locations, Filtrexx International, where he developed sustainable technology products for the construction industry and St. Ives Realty, where he spearheaded the ground-up construction of major retail shopping centers ranging in size from 15,000 to 30,000 square feet, Chris has the tools to manage the continued expansion schedules for both brands.

Brett Heinen

Vice President, Franchise Development

Brett Heinen likes to think big especially when it comes to expanding Pie Five and Pizza Inn around the country. Brett has extensive experience in the franchising and hospitality industry. During his tenure as Director of Franchise Sales at Dickey’s Barbecue, his teams ranked #1 for growth and performance in publications such as Technomic, QSR and Nation’s Restaurant News. He personally sold over 250 individual units throughout the country, working both small and very large transactions. Additionally, Brett brings experience as a franchisee. He was a founding member of an area development group that purchased the rights to the Houston Region for the Golden Chick brand.

Tim Breen

Vice President of IT, Pie Five Pizza Co.

At almost 6’7, Tim Breen understands an “elevated” customer experience. But, his goals as Vice President of Franchise Operations and Support for Pie Five Pizza Co. are anything but pie in the sky. With an extensive background with franchise operations for company’s such as Steak n’ Shake, Carlson Restaurants Worldwide (TGI Friday’s) and Walt Disney World Resorts, Breen has been instrumental in scaling the operations and training processes for the growing fast casual pizza brand.
