Pie Five Pizza Co. announced it will open its first restaurant in Arkansas on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 20770 I-30 North in Benton in Hurricane Creek Village.

“Bringing Pie Five to Arkansas was an easy decision due to the unique concept that allows customers to get exactly what they want for one low price,” said Rob Byford, Pie Five franchise partner. “This is the first fast casual pizza restaurant in the local area where customers can enjoy a customized pie made with fresh dough and topped with their favorite ingredients in less than five minutes.”

The latest Pie Five is owned and operated by Rob Byford, who also lives in the Benton area, according to a company press release. Byford and partner Michael Jett have been in the restaurant business for more than 20 years and currently own three Slim Chickens locations in central Arkansas.

As part of the new store’s opening celebration, Pie Five will donate 50 percent of proceeds earned at pre-opening events to The CALL. The CALL helps children in foster care find their forever families through connecting potential adopters and volunteers around the Arkansas area, the release said. The check presentation to The CALL will take place at 10 a.m. Friday, with members from the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce in attendance.
