Pie Five Pizza opens in Algonquin

ALGONQUIN — Pie Five Pizza will open its fourth Chicago area location Friday at 776 S. Randall Road in Algonquin, in front of the Super Target.

Pie Five Pizza offers personal pizza creations and a number of Signature personal pie options in less than five minutes.

“Pie Five is a family-friendly restaurant perfect for the Algonquin community,” said Randy Gier, Pie Five’s CEO. “Bringing the two together is a no brainer.”

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will be held at 10:45 a.m., with a number of Algonquin community on hand. To kick off the opening celebration, 50 percent of pre-opening proceeds will be donated to the Illinois chapter of Make-A-Wish Foundation. In addition, the Algonquin Area Youth Baseball, Local Park District and Jacobs High School Boosters will have ongoing partnerships and receive support from the new Algonquin restaurant.

Pie Five plans to open 500 company-owned and franchise units across the country in the next five years. There are 10 more Chicago-area locations planned before the end of the year.
